Luxury Chocolates and Napping in Parks

Day 20.

Today was great. I found crispy M&Ms. I bought like 5 pounds of them.

It was also the start of travel week, which means we don't have class and we can travel where ever we want. My roommate, Kaitlin, is on her way to Paris and I'm way jealous. I wish I was going with her, but I'm just staying in London and taking day trips to other cities.

Anyway, I started my travel week by going to Harrods to find some good chocolate and eat some lunch.

This is Schintzel Chicken sandwich.

It was divine.

Got my chocolates!

Then, because it was still so nice out, I went to walk around Regent's Park. Regent's Park is definitely my favorite park in London. I love it because it is much quieter and posher. It's in a really nice neighborhood. It's so swanky.

I took a nap under these trees.

I love this area so much.

Soooooo, tonight Kelsey and I saw The Book of Mormon. The show has been sold out for months, but they also have a lottery ticket system. You have to go to the theatre 2 and a half hours before the show and put your name in the lottery. Then 2 hours before the show they draw names. I was sure that our names were not going to be called, because I am the unluckiest human on earth and there was probably over a 100 names, but we were the first people called. It was insane.

We walk in the theatre and we found out that our seat were literally front row and centre.

This was the stage.

Literally sitting in the front row.

Secretly taking pictures in the theatre.

The show was so good. The acting was perfect. The singing and dancing was fabulous. It was hysterical. I honestly loved it.

I'm excited for the rest of my travel week!

Almost got killed by a Maserati today

Day 19.

It was like 70 degrees today. It was magnificent.

It was so nice in fact that I walked around Hyde Park for an hour and a half.

My original plan was to rent a bike but all the bikes were taken...

Tree tunnel.

Under the tree tunnel.
Pretty flowers in the park.

Creepy dog posters.

So many people!

Family picnic.

FOOTBALL!

Showed my love for Lady Di today!

Swan sculpture next to Serpentine Lake.

I want rent a paddle boat.

So many people around the Princess Diana Memorial Fountain.

Also, I had no idea that people were allowed in the fountain.

People brought tents.

I love Hyde Park more and more every time I go.

Kaitlin and I got dinner at a really cute place on Gloucester Road.

My salad was really good.

I also went to the best frozen yogurt place.

SNOG IS THE BEST!

This week is travel week so I only have one day of class!

Party time!

Our Fashion is WOO!

Day 18.

Today was gorgeous. It was the first time we have had really nice weather. Kelsey and I really wanted to take advantage of it.

So naturally, we started our day Borough Market. I had the best pulled pork sandwich I've ever had. It was perfect.

It was beautiful.

I also had a doughnut ball sent from Heaven.

Then, we walked through Green Park to get to Buckingham Palace. I love everything about Buckingham Palace.
They had nice chairs set up in Green Park.

Palace Gates.

Lonely Guard.

So pretty. Unfortunately, the queen was not home.

It was crowded today because it was so nice out.

I want to live in a Palace.

Then, we just walked though the park in front of the Palace.

Then, Kelsey and I walked around Portobello Market to get some gelato.

Tonight, we went back to the Globe Theatre to see A Midsummer Night's Dream, I actually like this performance much more than I liked The Tempest.
Ah, the good ol' Globe.

Cheers, darlings!
